Q: How do I get started working with you?
A: Pick up the phone and call 864-244-2420 to schedule a new student interview so that we can access how best to help you. At your first visit there will be some forms that you will need to complete. If you want to jump start the process you can find them all on this page. Don’t forget to bring them to your first visit though!
Q: Is there a cost for the new student interview?
A: No! We consider this as a necessary part of doing our job. We use the information we glean to from this consultation to help us place new students with the tutor that best suits their particular needs. Why should we charge you when the learning is all happening on our end?!
Q: Do you offer help with _____?
A: The subjects on our subject tutoring page are regular offerings by Wired Minds. However, we are capable of tutoring in other areas. Our tutors come from a variety of backgrounds and bing some very unique skills to you. So, if you are looking for tutoring in music theory, juggling, metaphysics, or Byzantine Greek paleography, we can help! But we can’t tutor everything–so you should just call (864-244-2420) to find out whether we can help you.

A: 1271 S. Suber Road, Greer, SC 29650 See our contact page for more details.
Q: How can I get in touch with my tutor?
A: Call the front office (864-244-2420). We would be happy to connect you to your tutor, and many times we are able to resolve your questions on the spot.
Q: What if I am not satisifed with my current tutor?
A: Honestly, this is not a frequently asked question, but we thought we ought to prepare for the inevitability that at some point what we thought we be a good match turns out not to be (or no longer is). We would be happy to introduce you to a new tutor. Please call us at 864-244-2420 and let us know your concerns. We will address them today!

Q: Finances are tough right now. Does Wired Minds offer scholarships?

However, because we are in the first stages of establishing Wired Minds as a business, we are only able to offer a very limited number of scholarships to students and only for a limited duration. We require that you fill out our scholarship application before we can consider your request. In the future, we hope to be able to be much more accomodating of these requests (i.e., as we obtaining grant money and donors). At the moment, virtually all scholarships are offered out of pocket.
Q: Why are some of the web pages not working?
A: We have big plans for this website. In fact, we would like to make it a hub for all sorts of useful and interesting resources–including some that are on the distant horizon. Occassionally, we will be enabling and disabling features and pages on this website that are not intended for immediate release. Thank you for bearing with us as we transition to the world’s best tutoring organization!
Q: Can I work for Wired Minds?
A: We are consistently impressed with how many people want to work for us (even for free)! On the one hand, we are flattered and excited by this interest–which shows us that we are doing our job right. On the other hand, we could not begin to consider hiring everyone who applies to work here. However, if you are confident that you would like to work at Wired Minds, you can find more information here!
