John studied Industrial Education at Clemson and earned his Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2012 from Lander Univesity. Now retired, John has decades of experience working with students to build their self-confidence and skills. He is both an artist and someone who pays attention to detail; in tutoring, that translates to breaking down each sound on a phonetic level while also teaching how to say the word organically as a whole. He enjoys volunteering through his church and creating artwork.
