Shelly is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Anderson University (MEd), and works as a full time substitute teacher. Her structured and compassionate approach has helped countless students meet their academic goals. Her approach to tutoring is “getting to know my student first. I partner with both the parent and the child's teacher (if possible) and help students relate assignments to their real world. I am an advocate for my students.” When she’s not wearing themed sweaters and improving the next generation’s literacy, she loves reading among all her plants, decorating her house, and visiting her friends from college.
