A retired professor from Furman and North Greenville University, Charlie is a great educator with experience breaking down even the most complicated problems in Chemistry. He and his wife enjoy gardening and spending time together with their family.

Christine

Elementary, Reading

A native to Illinois, Christine graduated with her bachelors in Elementary Education, and we are glad she’s joined Wired Minds since moving to South Carolina. She describes her teaching style as “welcoming and comfortable. I want students to feel like they can ask questions and take part in their own learning.” Christine enjoys hiking and binging the Office when she’s not being an absolute rockstar of a middle school teacher.

Earl

Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Geometry

Earl is a retired math teacher and one of Wired Minds’ most beloved tutors, famous for being well-prepared and making his students feel safe. His tutoring style is patient and methodical, and he is dedicated to making sure his students have a true understanding of the subject matter. Earl enjoys spending time with his wife and family when he’s not tutoring.

Eric

Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Algebra 1, Geometry, Calculus, SAT/ACT Math, Virtual Option

Eric studied Applied Mathematics at USC Upstate, and is one of Wired Minds’ longest standing tutors. His approach to tutoring is establishing an environment where the students feel comfortable to address their math struggles and building confidence in the material so they can meet their goals. When he’s not teaching during the day or tutoring at Wired Minds, Eric loves to play sports with his kids.

Ethan

Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Middle School

Ethan is one of our fantastic peer tutors. The head tutor at his highschool, he is a patient and encouraging tutor who can help students understand complex content at a more accessible level.

Hanna

Biology, Virtual Option

Hanna is currently studying at USC Upstate to be a Biology teacher. She also runs our after-school program - a true All-Star! She has the wonderful ability to break things down into a format that students can better understand, and she's great about challenging students to meet their potential. When Hanna's not working, she loves crafting and watching football.

Isabella

English, SAT/ACT English

Isabella graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in English Education. Energetic and positive, Isabella is enthusiastic to support her students and make sure they have what they need to succeed.

Joseph

Joseph graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Pure Mathematics. His approach to tutoring is to strategically ask the students questions to “keep them engaged with the subject and help build their confidence at the same time.” Joseph is into movies and music of all kinds, RC trucks when he has the time to run them, and designing computer graphics.

Kerri

Kerri graduated from Spelman College with a degree in General Science, and then from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She would describe her teaching style as tough but fair and always encouraging. When she’s not teaching full time or tutoring at Wired Minds, she loves to read or watch sports!

Kristin graduated from Bob Jones with a degree in Elementary Education. Between her experience as a teacher and then a homeschool mom, Kristin's bright personality and passion for learning make her a truly fantastic tutor.

Kristina graduated with a bachelor's degree from SUNY New Paltz in Elementary Education with an additional focus on Spanish, as well as a masters degree from Long Island University in Special Education with an additional focus on Autism Studies. She is a bubbly and growth minded teacher who loves all things nature related!
